The Hospital is situated in a prime location in Hyderabad. It has a capacity of 100 beds, 3 Operation rooms, three state- of-the-art echo-cardiograph machines and one cardiac catheterization lab. It also has 50-bedded specially designed intensive care units for post-cardiac surgery, surgical step-down, pre-operative stabilization and Neo-natal ICU. They have been doing 4-6 pediatric cardiac operations and cardiological interventions per day and till date we were able to perform more than 1000 heart procedures with results comparable to the best elsewhere in the world. They have performed surgeries for complex congenital heart diseases which include Arterial switch operations, single stage focalization, repair of complete AVSD defect and Truncus Arteriosus, and single stage correction of Intracardiac anomalies with arch obstruction apart from other routine procedures. In interventional cardiology they have performed device closure of heart defects with left to right shunts, stenting of coarctation of aorta, percutaneous ballon valvotomies for aortic and pulmonary stenosis, and PDA stenting in neonates. But never be contented and rest on our laurels, we continue to build on these achievements. we have performed more than 5000 operations for children form lower socio economic background. They have taken interest, beyond routine treatment to provide special care for the needy children such as antenatal screening, childhood obesity, hypertension, children with acquired heart disease, pulmonary hypertension clinics, grown up children with congenital heart disease and genetic counseling. There are specially designed ambulances to transport critically ill babies even from far away places. They have facilities for ventilation, haemodynamic monitoring and cardiopulmonary resuscitation.
