Founded on 10th February 1996 by Dr. Kasu Prasad Reddy, Maxivision Eye Hospital today is the largest and most productive eye care facility in the world. From our inception to March 2008, about 2.4 million persons have received outpatient eye care and over 285,000 have undergone eye surgeries at Maxivision Eye hospitals at Hyderabad, Vijayawada and Vishakapatnam.

The mission of MAXIVISION Eye Hospital is to be a centre of excellence in eye care services, basic and clinical research into eye diseases and vision-threatening conditions, training, product development, and rehabilitation for those with incurable visual disability, with a focus on extending equitable and efficient eye care to underserved populations in the developing world.
